work with ME

I’m a real estate strategist with a knack for finding opportunities in places others might have overlooked. And I’m all about helping people take control of their financial future through smart real estate deals.

Hi there, I'm Jessica!

I recently listened to a podcast conversation between Tony Robbins and Alex Hormozi, and it hit me in a way I wasn’t expecting. Not because it was flashy or dramatic but because it felt uncomfortably familiar.

At one point in the conversation, Alex talks about being in full grind mode. Head down. Focused. Disciplined. He even says something along the lines of “f*ck happiness” as if joy is a distraction from progress. And I understood exactly what he meant, because I’ve lived there.

There was a season of my life where productivity became my identity. Where forward motion mattered more than how I felt. Where success was something I chased relentlessly, believing happiness would eventually catch up. I wasn’t unhappy, exactly but I also wasn’t fully alive. I was moving fast, but I wasn’t always present.

What struck me most wasn’t Alex’s mindset; it was how Tony responded.

Tony didn’t criticize the work ethic. He didn’t shame the grind. Instead, he challenged something deeper. He pointed out that motion without meaning eventually becomes empty. That discipline without purpose turns into burnout. That grinding without joy isn’t strength, it’s survival.

That distinction stopped me in my tracks.

Because I’ve learned firsthand that you can build incredible things while quietly disconnecting from yourself. You can be productive, successful, admired and still feel like something is missing. For a long time, I believed that was just the price of ambition. That fulfillment was something you postponed until later.

But here’s the truth I’ve come to understand later isn’t guaranteed and happiness isn’t a reward you earn by suffering long enough.

Tony talks about the difference between being pushed by pressure and being pulled by purpose. That language landed deeply for me. I spent years pushing… pushing through exhaustion, pushing through overwhelm, pushing through seasons that didn’t actually align with who I was becoming. And while that push built results, it didn’t always build joy.

The shift came when I started asking myself different questions…

Not “How much more can I do?”

But “What actually lights me up?”

Not “What’s the next goal?”

But “Why does this matter to me?”

I didn’t stop working hard. I didn’t abandon ambition. What changed was the energy behind it. I began choosing alignment over adrenaline. Presence over pressure. Purpose over pure output.

And that’s what made this podcast hit me so deeply, it reflected the evolution I’ve lived through.

If you’re in a season of grind right now, I see you. There is nothing wrong with discipline, focus, or ambition. But I want to gently offer this: if you’re constantly moving but rarely feeling, it might be time to pause and reflect. Not to quit but to recalibrate.

Joy doesn’t make you weak. Happiness doesn’t make you lazy. Purpose doesn’t slow you down, it sustains you.

You’re allowed to build a life you don’t need to escape from.

You’re allowed to want success and peace.

You’re allowed to let your work be fueled by meaning, not just momentum.

That conversation reminded me that the goal isn’t just to grind harder, it’s to live fuller. And if this resonates even a little, I invite you to take an honest look at where you are right now. Not with judgment but with curiosity.

Because sometimes the most powerful growth doesn’t come from pushing more it comes from finally listening to what your soul has been asking for all along.
